Villages of São Paulo
Embu is a small colonial village, specializing in traditional brazilian handicrafts and art.
The village has been a centre for artists since the 1920s, and is now home to more than a 100 small art galleries and workshops making rustic furniture.
The main cities on the southern coast of São Paulo are Santos/
Guaruja/São Vicente, which are full of leisure options, an unmissable visit is the historic
center of Santos, with several old and restored buildings.
Other attractions included the Aquarium, the longest and largest beach garden in the world
and Vila Belmiro Stadium, home of Santos Football Club, where Pelé (considered the best soccer player in the world), started his career and played most of it there.
Another important destination is the sophisticated city of Guaruja.
Pitangueiras and Asturias are the most famous beaches. These two beaches together make almost two kilometers of clear sand and calm sea.
